Diamond Flames

This is a development on a random scribble I did at some point in the last couple of years (I don't date the dozens of little doodles I do out of boredom every day ). I found the original drawing outline in pen amongst the piles of paper I recently went through on my desk, decided I liked it and copied it over in colour progressos, then outlined it in black felt tip pen. Being that the original was a random and unplanned, this is another unknown creature, although as my friend pointed out it still has a kind of canine shape to it like a lot of my scribbles (funny how I've converted to automatically drawing canine type creatures when I used to concentrate so much on equine ones...).
