Between the 30th of September and 4th of October 2013 I was on an Excursion with my university where we travelled by bus around Southern NSW and Northern Victoria (stayed very close to the border for VIC), visiting various rural properties. I took 430 photos with my new camera and selected my favourite
On Tuesday we visited a fisheries centre where they bred endangered/threatened native Australian fish species to be released into nearby waters for recreational fishing. This may seem counter-productive but basically the only reason why the species are threatened to begin with is because of past heavy fishing pressure on them. Breeding and reintroducing these fish helps to keep their populations steady.
This one is of the Murray Crayfish. Quite a lot easier to get an clear photo of since unlike the cod this one was sitting still
